Primary Careers Resources
Culture Shift has been commissioned by East Sussex County Council to develop a series of resources for primary schools based on our Creative Café Careers programme and our Word Café – a literacy initiative.

We are looking for professionals to get involved with a suite of resources to convey the importance of maths and numeracy in their day-day work.
We are looking to have 4 professionals covering a range of different careers from accountancy, insurance, finance management of a company/retail, engineering, architecture, surveying, meteorology, data/statistics and no doubt many more!
If you’d like to help give young children a sense of your world of work, please do get in touch.
The ask is to
• Do a 5 minute filmed interview on zoom
• Create a short task, with our support, that teachers can use in the classroom
• Take part in 2 x 30 minute virtual encounter with a class of children, with our support
Time frame is to film before the end of May, develop task sheet by mid-June and to do the first virtual encounter on 30 June. This is a pilot and is being developed with Cavendish Primary School.
We are able to reimburse you for your time.
