Last chance: book your tickets now to join us for Wednesday's European Movement dinner and speaker

Prof Hervey is Jean Monnet Professor of EU Law ad personam at The City Law School, of the University of London

We are very fortunate to be joined by guest speaker Professor Tamara Hervey for the next European Movement event at the Hydro Hotel.

Prof Hervey is Jean Monnet Professor of EU Law ad personam at The City Law School, of the University of London. She will be giving you her academic insights into how Brexit was sold to the nation and the implications of leaving the EU for our National Health Service.
Founded in 1947 by Winston Churchill, the European Movement seeks to promote peace and prosperity in Europe.
Each month, the European Movement gives you the opportunity to hear from the very best academics, politicians, journalists and more. Speakers are chosen from both sides of the Channel and discuss the opportunities and challenges we are presented in our relationship with Europe.

In case you missed it...

Last month, The European Movement had the honour of welcoming Eduard Fesko, the acting Ukrainian Ambassador to the UK.

Eduard gave a very moving and humbling account on the realities of life at war with Russia, the fragility of peace in Europe and how the very close presence of conflict brings the need for peace in Ukraine into focus for all of us, regardless of personal politics.

The March talk with Professor Hervey promises to be every bit as thought-provoking and informative.

You can book your place for the European Movement dinner and talk at the Hydro Hotel here.
