The sun was out for this year’s Chamber Golf Day. Of course, Eastbourne’s pluckiest putters would have turned out come rain or shine…
With bacon sandwiches and friendly greetings swiftly dispatched with, the teams hit the freeway for a shotgun start and 18 holes of golf at the Royal Eastbourne Golf Course.
Sadly, nobody won the Hole-in-One prize of a brand-new BMW, courtesy of Group 1 Hailsham (sponsored by Mango Insurance) but between a day’s golfing, a charity auction, raffle and a sit-down meal, everyone was suitably rewarded and merry by the end of the day.
Speaking of merriment, special thanks are owed to Ginger& Sanders Sales and Lettings, who sponsored the all-important 19th hole!!
