Voice of the SME Survey from the HR Dept

The Voice of the SME Initiative has been created to provide SMEs across the nation with a united voice when it comes to consultations and legislative change.

As you know, more often than not legislative decisions are made with large corporates in mind and may not consider the impact these decisions may have on SME’s. The HR Dept want to be the ones to make a difference on behalf of SME’s and put our findings in front of those that can influence future decisions.

The aim for the Voice of the SME Survey is to comment on the upcoming consultations in October:

  • Health is everyone’s business: Proposals to reduce ill health rated job losses – The proposals aim to support and encourage early action by employers for their employees with long-term health conditions, and improve access to quality, cost-effective occupational health.
  • One sided flexibility – This consultation aims to  a right to reasonable notice of work schedules, and the provision of compensation for shifts cancelled at short notice

The survey closes on the 30 September 2019.
