Serving up a Treat

Stephen Holt, Business Development Manager for the Eastbourne unLtd Chamber of Commerce served up a real treat this weekend when he became an employee for the day at Fusciardi’s.


Stephen said “Last October, Marino Fusciardi ‘brought me’ to raise money for Embrace at their annual fundraising event. What he didn’t tell me was that he starts making his own fresh gelato at 5am every morning!”


“It was great fun to try my hand at making delicious, fresh coconut gelato and understand the process and care that goes into each batch. As a fan of gelato, it was an absolute dream being able to smell and sample all the delicious flavours, that you only get from the freshest ingredients”


“My thanks to the Mayor, Stephen Lloyd and David Tutt who helped to sample the products, and of course I particularly enjoyed serving the Managing Director of Embrace Lawrence Whippy a Mr Whippy Ice Cream!”


Recently, Fusciardi’s have also been working hard to become plastic free and reduce their waste, and have supported the publication of a children’s book educating kids into the importance of reducing single-use plastic.
