Airbourne 2019 with AP Security
Over 200 Chamber members filled the View Hotel on Airbourne Friday at the always popular Chamber Airbourne lunch, this year sponsored by AP Security.
Chamber members were able to enjoy a delicious three course lunch and a glass Pimms to the sound of Spitfires and the roar of the Tornado from the comfort of the stunning balconies provided by the View Hotel.
AP Security – one of the largest privately owned security companies in the UK – used the event to showcase their latest app Protect 24, which can be installed on phones and used to protect lone workers.
Christina Ewbank, Chief Executive of the Eastbourne Chamber of Commerce said, “A huge thanks to A P Security for sponsoring this years Airbourne event which took place in three rooms! A P Security have an incredibly impressive range of ways of protecting you, your business and your staff as well as being a leader in event security and man management”.
Diane Mulkeirns from AP Security said, “It was an absolute pleasure to enjoy this years Airbourne with fellow Chamber members and guests. Our team had a fantastic time at the event, and thoroughly enjoyed watching the magnificent show. Our company video for the event has been produced by Fountain Digital and company literature has been printed by a local firm. We work locally and support locally and those Companies become part of the AP extended family.”
This year, members also paid an additional £4 per ticket to donate directly towards Airbourne raising £872. An additional bucket collection for Airbourne raised a further £300 on the day itself.
Chamber members also generously donated £1500 as part of the raffle which will be shared between the local charities St Wilfrid’s Hospice and St John’s School and College. Our thanks to all those who donated a prize and brought a ticket.
The Chamber’s next major networking event will be the Christmas Lunch on the 13th of December at the Grand Hotel. Tickets go fast – so book now by visiting www.eastbourneunltd.co.uk
