The Lansdowne Hotel – in a different league
Since the refurbishment of their gorgeous new function rooms, the Lansdowne Hotel has moved into a different league for corporate hospitality and entertaining. A favourite of the Chamber Directors, the Lansdowne hosts our board meetings and we are delighted to recommend the hotel to all our members.
Earlier this month the management and owners of the Lansdowne welcomed over 100 Chamber members and guests to a drinks reception to celebrate the opening of their stylish reception rooms. Designed by Catherine Clifford, the rooms are absolutely stunning and are a great addition to the availability of corporate hospitality spaces in Eastbourne.
Catherine and Edward Lewis are partners in the hotel which has been in their family for over 100 years and they have been great supporters of the Chamber in all that time.
Significant investment and care has been put into renovating this wonderful hotel - so do use them for any family or business events you may be planning.
The General Manager, Jamieson Berriman, who has been leading the hotel team since 2014 after many years with the Grand Hotel said "We are delighted with the new reception rooms. Their elegance moves the hotel to a new level for corporate events and we look forward to welcoming Chamber Members to the hotel throughout the year."
The £750,000 refurbishment of the Lansdowne started with a major overhaul of the bedrooms. Each room is unique, modern and stylish while preserving the natural elegance of this seafront hotel. Catherine's attractive styling is now being extended to the public rooms and reception area, so watch this space for news of her next project.
