Member’s Evening – Devonshire West Big Local 5th Birthday

Devonshire West Big Local (DWBL) is one of 150 areas nationally that have been given a million pounds to improve the area for the benefit of its residents in the Seaside area of Eastbourne.

They will be hosting a showcase evening on Wednesday 17th October 2018, from 5pm at Seaside Community Hub where members of the Chamber of Commerce will have a chance to meet various groups that have run projects and hear about their journey so far.

To celebrate their fifth birthday, they would love the opportunity to show our members some of the projects they have funded and supported during that time.

The following groups will be presenting that day:

Community Stuff

HOME

Heart Touching Photography

I am What I Am LGBT group

Friends of Seaside Rec

The Leaf Hall

The Hippodrome

The Devonshire Collective

Clean Air Eastbourne

Seaside Community Hub

East Sussex Credit Union

Complimentary wine and nibbles will be provided as well as an opportunity for networking.

Why I'm a Member

"In 2015, Eastbourne UnLtd made Christmas for our town with over 50,000 people visiting the centre as a direct result of the activities managed and co-ordinated by the Chamber. One of the highlights was the Coca Cola truck which proved what a night time economy can look like."
