Eastbourne Borough Council – Business Rates Relief – Last Chance to Respond
From Eastbourne Borough Council:
We would like to hear from business rate payers in Eastbourne and residents about whether you agree with our proposed Discretionary Business Rates Relief Scheme.
In the Government's spring budget of 2017, the Chancellor announced £300 million of extra funding for local authorities to provide discretionary relief to businesses facing increases in their business rate bills following the general revaluation.
Our proposed scheme mirrors the criteria used by Government when allocating the funding.
To have your say please visit our website where the full policy and consultation can be found. The consultation will close at 5pm on Sunday 8 October 2017.
