New Rates Meeting – Thursday 16th March
The meeting will take place at The Crown and Anchor - Marine Parade
Choose from 1pm or from 5.30pm
Rateable values have been recalculated and the Chamber has heard of increases of over 300%! So it is vital to understand how the government has calculated yours. Click here for precisely what your rateable value is going to be in April, along with what it is now and how it is calculated.
Some values have gone down but many have gone up. If you are worried about your new rateable value, we are holding a special meeting on Thursday 16th March to give you advice and help you decide how best to appeal.
To give small businesses the chance to attend we will be running a session at 1pm and at 5.30pm. Put the date in your diary and we will advise you of the venue soon.
We would not recommend going direct to the rates office as this is a very specialist area. Please take advice from the experts before deciding what to do.
In the meantime, you may wish to talk to our Premier Members, Auditel and get their advice. Along with advice on rates they could also save you money on heating, light, printing, telecoms and more.
